• A great new web site “Geekspeakr”:http://www.geekspeakr.com/ tries a very nice thing – “Connecting tech women speakers with event organisers”.
• “Bedjumping”:http://www.hotelsbycity.net/blog/bed-jump/page/2/ is something I have thought of many a time on my travels, too

• “Douglas Coupland is coming to London”:http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006s5sf to read from Generation X.
• “Runpee”:http://www.runpee.com/#app=845b&e1bd-RunPeeID=1.167.0&b35-selectedIndex=0 is a web site and now iPhone app that tells you when you can take a break in a movie to use the toilet – and tells you the plot parts you miss. Also wait for the logo animation.
• “Flickery”:http://www.flickeryapp.com/ seems to be a great replacement for the Flickr uploadr.
