		<description>@chrishunt: Leaving the arrogant tone of your comment to the fact that comments don&#039;t show emotions, I&#039;d say you are right that the loading process of a page is not the top priority where to optimise, but it is a big deal. Not for power users that just load content in the background while reading another tab but for first time visitors - a slow loading and clunky page leaves an unpleasant subconscious feeling. We just don&#039;t like to wait, this is that cool new information superhighway!</description>

		<description>Thanks for these techniques, no doubt they could come in useful somewhere. However, I can&#039;t help feeling that people who obsess about what their page looks like while it&#039;s loading often have way too much time on their hands. Most sites have more important issues for people to deal with than this.</description>
