I have been looking around for a new host, one that better supports backend CMS, and media temple has caught my eye. Is it really that much better than the standard run-of-the-mill host, for around half the price?

The grid server looks very cool, and from what I can tell it might make downtime a thing of the past, or a very very rare occurrence.
