Hi Christian,

I have to agree with the other folks - I went primarily to hear Andy (not being a JavaScript expert myself) but actually enjoyed your stint much more!

And it was nice to chat afterwards about accessibility and Ajax etc. You've inspired me to get myself more acquainted with accessible JavaScript and DOM stuff. Thanks!

I'm just going to basically echo what Nick said - I found Andy Budd's presentation a bit of a letdown, particularly as it was my main incentive for going, but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed yours, not being a Javascripter myself.

Hopefully I'll be able to shake the deer-in-the-headlights look long enough to say hi next time.

Hey - it was nice to meet you Chris.

I'm not really a javascripter myself (I'm on the CSS side, so I dabble, but will never excel I shouldn't think), and have only just stopped being put off using it by bad usage over the years. Talks and work by both you and Jeremy Keith especially have really done wonders for me lately though. So, thanks for that. :)

Let me say that if I hadn't been fortunate enough to win a copy I was certainly going to purchase one.

I have to say - I'm pretty much in agreement with Nick on this. And as a designer/developer that loosely dabbles in javascript, i never, ever thought I'd hear myself saying "Chris, I'll be buying your book". But here i am! Really enjoyed your talk and a welcome bit of light relief after Andy left me feeling so down... but i'll be taking that issue up with him later, the little monkey!
